I was just leaving the Santa Barbara Farmers Market this morning when I saw Chris Graef wearing a familiar aloha shirt!
This Aloha Shirt was designed for Kahala under the direction of Dale Hope. It was the first print that Dale commissioned me to hand render in gouache paint. My art studio was in a screened in carport a block from the beach in Kailua, Oahu.

Chris and Rhonda Graef have owned Santa Ynez Gardens, Inc, a wholesale nursery, for 48 years.
